TOPIK-note Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 16, 2026

By downloading, installing, or using the TOPIK-note mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Service Description

Lee Jung Holdings ("we," "us," or "our") provides the App as a TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) vocabulary learning tool. The App offers:

• Free Tier: Level-based vocabulary learning with daily question limits and basic learning statistics.
• Paid Tier: All-level content, unlimited SRS quizzes, offline mode, detailed analytics, ad removal, and streak protection.

2. In-App Purchases and Payments

1. Paid features are available through in-app purchases via Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Paid services include one-time (lifetime), annual subscription, and monthly subscription options.
3. Prices may vary by country and are displayed in the App's payment screen.
4. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
5. One-time (lifetime) purchases grant permanent access to paid features on the associated device and account.

3. Refund and Withdrawal Policy

1. You may request a withdrawal (cancellation) within 7 days from the date of purchase, in accordance with the Korean Electronic Commerce Act (Article 17).
2. Withdrawal may be restricted in the following cases: - After the provision of digital content has commenced (i.e., you have started using premium features) - If the value of the content has significantly decreased due to your actions
3. These restrictions are clearly disclosed on the payment screen prior to purchase. A free tier is provided so you can evaluate the service before purchasing.
4. If a valid withdrawal request is made, we will issue a refund within 3 business days. For subscription products, the refund amount may be prorated based on the period already used.
5. Refunds for in-app purchases are processed through the respective platform: - Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com - Google: play.google.com/store/account
6. Regardless of platform refund procedures, your statutory withdrawal rights under applicable law are preserved. For refund inquiries: ljholdings0328@gmail.com

4. Intellectual Property

1. The App and its content are owned by Lee Jung Holdings and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
2. Some vocabulary data is based on the National Institute of Korean Language's Korean Basic Dictionary (krdict), used under the CC BY-SA 2.0 KR license. The vocabulary dataset compiled and modified for this App is also released under the CC BY-SA 2.0 KR license, in compliance with the ShareAlike requirement.
3. You may use the App's content for personal learning purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree not to: - Copy, distribute, or modify the App's content without authorization - Circumvent or disable any security features of the App - Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations - Use the App to infringe upon the rights of others

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE SPECIFIC LEARNING OUTCOMES OR TEST RESULTS. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP.

8. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part thereof at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the App when practicable.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the updated Terms within the App at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
